Villa Spinosa is a winery producing the typical Valpolicella wines based in Negrar, at the foot of Colle Masua, in Jago. In addition to the nineteenth-century manor house, the most precious corporate assets are the hillside vineyards of the crus Jago, Figari and Costa del Buso. Towards the end of the eighteenth century the engineer Giacomo Guglielmi began the construction of the rustic of Jago, the rustic followed the construction of the Villa and the Italian garden. In the eighteenth century wine grapes were not the main production, only in the second half of the 1900s wine became increasingly important, to become the most marketed product. After the great wine crisis, in the eighties of the last century, Valpolicella and its wines, especially Amarone, entered the world of quality wine as protagonists. After the restructuring of the last century and the continuous search for quality, Villa Spinosa has made a modern winery in the Valpolicella Classica.
