Vigneto Saetti is a family winery, founded in 1998 by Luciano Saetti, a winemaker for generations by tradition. The vineyards are located in the DOC district of Santa Croce, in the province of Modena, it covers an area of 2.80 hectares adjoining specialized land registered to the Italian Association for Organic Agriculture. Dating back to 1964, over the years the cultivation systems have been selected and improved, but above all we have always tried not to alter the natural balance of the vineyard by eliminating the use of pesticides. Until today, during the manual harvesting of the grapes, a careful selection is made to obtain a wholly healthy product. Moreover, the vineyard is irrigated only with small goggiolatoi and green pruning is not practiced. All these measures together with a considerable reduction in the quantity of production and a careful work of vinification, led in 2007 to produce wines without adding sulfur dioxide. The absence of sulfur dioxide is recognized at the first sip, through the fragrance of the fruits in the glass, you can perceive the taste of the freshly picked bunch, the roughness and the bitterness of the peel immediately reached by the sweetness of its pulp.
