The Venturini Baldini farm was founded in 1976, in the foothills of the province of Reggio Emilia, where the microclimate allows the sun to win the fog in winter and the cool green to temper the summer heat. The estate, which extends from 170 to 370 meters of altitude for a total of 130 hectares, 30 of which are vineyards, was one of the first companies in Emilia Romagna to follow the strict dictates of the biological regime. The estate, in addition to being part of a beautiful natural scenery, is enriched by the historical heritage to which it belongs. Built on Matildic foundations, the current Villa Manodori dates back to the beginning of the 16th century, and still today recalls the ancient splendor of the noble families which was home over time, by the Fontanelli marches, the Galliani counts, the Ancini counts, and finally Nineteenth century residence of the Marquis Manodori. Since 1976, the Venturini Baldini brand represents a guarantee of high quality for exquisitely Emilian wines. The team of oenologists and consultants, selects the best of our grapes, to guarantee the best organoleptic and olfactory characteristics, and limiting the annual production of around 100,000 bottles, despite having a production capacity of over 300,000 bottles. The autochthonous grapes, typical of the area of Lambrusco and the Colli di Canossa and Scandiano, live in harmony alongside the international grapes, from Chardonnay to Pinot Noir, in an evocative landscape, where the rows, follow each other as far as the eye can see orchards, prairie brade, ancient oaks and wooded areas, freely inhabited by roe deer, foxes, hares, weasels and badgers.
