Since 1880 Cantine Pellegrino cultivates the best Sicilian grapes, representing today a reality of great tradition and experience on the island. The Pellegrino family has always personally managed the activities in the vineyard and in the cellar, and even today, at the seventh generation, is daily involved in business management.
The Pellegrino vineyards are located in the westernmost part of Sicily, characterized by a great variety of microclimates. The area has the highest vine area of Italy as it is considered the most suitable island. Here in fact the intense light, the dry and dry climate, the fresh soils, the winds coming from the south, the strong thermal excursions, create the ideal conditions for the production of quality wines. The cultivations of the grapes follow the biological disciplinary with green choices that concern all the fields of production. Thanks to different cultivation areas, three different cellars - Cardilla for wines, Pantelleria for moscati and passito, Marsala for the homonymous wine and fortified wines - and winemakers dedicated to every type of wine, we are the Sicilian winery able to offer the widest variety of types of Sicilian wines.
