Dynasty of distillers, the Francoli family took its first steps in the world of stills in 1875, when Luigi Guglielmo Francoli with his first experiments with a rudimentary alembic gave birth to the first drops of his grappa. In 1948 Guglielmo was joined by his nephew Luigi, son of Severus, who later, in 1951, decided to take over the business and founded the Luigi Francoli Distillery in Ghemme, where the best grappas in the area were bottled and sold. The increase in the work suggested to Luigi to call to himself the 4 younger brothers who, one after the other, joined him. This is how the fourth generation of Francoli distillers was born. For the Francoli Distillery, respect for the environment is essential. This is achieved, also by joining the Impatto Zero® project in 2006, thanks to which twenty hectares of growing forests have been created and protected, able to absorb the amount of carbon dioxide produced by commercial activities such as procurement and delivery of goods, travel by car and plane of all the people involved in the life of the company.
