LE MARCHESINE
Born in 1985 when Giovanni Biatta, the founder of Le Marchesine, purchased the first three hectares in the Franciacorta area, for at least five generations the family has been dedicated to one great passion: the wine excellence of Franciacorta. Le Marchesine as a small and innovative company is now one of the most prestigious and in full development of the fortunate Lombard area. From the initial three hectares, the company has expanded to reach 47 hectares of vineyards, at the moment production is around 450 thousand bottles per year. The strength of the company lies in several factors, which aim and converge all to achieve the best possible product as well as a careful selection of the best cuttings to be planted and the use of the same strains of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay used in France, the philosophy of Le Marchesine is also focused on technological innovation, it is no coincidence that the farm boasts a more than ten-year relationship with a real institution of the Champagne region, the Champagne Oenological Institute, of which the oenologist of Le Marchesine is a member , Jean Pierre Valade
