La Maison Laurent-Perrier is now recognized worldwide as one of the biggest champagne houses. Quality, respect for nature, for wines and for men: these are the values that guide the fashion house to create elegant and refined champagne. The innovative spirit of the succeeding managers has brought freshness and elegance to the maison. Every Laurent-Perrier wine is born of a bold choice, a creative impulse and a tendency to achieve pleasure, to meet the needs of an era in search of innovative and authentic experiences.
Founded in 1812, the year in which the winery was founded by André and Michel Pierlot. Located in Tours-sur-Marne, in the Champagne-Ardenne, it was in 1881 that the company's fortunes were written, when Eugene Laurent, Pierlot's cellars, decided together with his wife Mathilde Emilie Perrier to take over the fashion house and take the lead. later changing its name to Laurent-Perrier. From here, between various vicissitudes, history leads us to Mary-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt first, and to her son Bernard then, who represents the true soul of the champagne that can be tasted today. Characterized by the use mainly of chardonnay and pinot noir grapes - with the exception of Cuvée Rosé made exclusively from Pinot noir grapes - the Laurent-Perrier Champagne rest at least four years before being marketed. Currently run by the daughters of Bernard, Alexandra and Stephanie Lanson de Nonancourt, the Maison now has 150 hectares of vineyards and is distinguished by a special and unique style, due undoubtedly to the obsessive pursuit of perfection in all production steps, starting from the rows to get to the bottle. In the vineyard, the approach is minimalist, so we tend to grow plants while respecting the environment, nature and the ecosystem. In the winery, the philosophy followed is not different: vinifying separately every single plot, the Laurent-Perrier maison is from the '50s working the steel grapes at controlled temperature, so as to keep intact and unaltered the freshness and aromatic complexity of the fruit . In the sparkling phase, finally, each step is controlled with method and rigor, using the most modern winemaking technologies, always used without ever exceeding the oldest local traditions. From the Brut to the Rosé, from the Millesimati to the "Grand Siècle", up to the Demi-Sec and the Ultra Brut, Laurent-Perrier brandy are born: timeless bubbles, among the most prestigious that at the moment France is able to give away.
