LA BUSE DAL LOF
The company was founded in 1972 by Giuseppe Pavan. The name "La Buse dal Lof", which in the Friulian language means "La Tana del Lupo", derives from the topographical name of the area, already renowned for its wine production. The company, currently run by Michele Pavan, is based on full respect of the Friulian wine tradition, both in terms of the vine growing system and the winemaking method, always attentive to modern winemaking techniques, but respectful of tradition. Rows of vines in an exceptional territory. The company has a land of miocene origin, of purely marly nature (Ponka). Protected to the north by the last branches of the Julian Alps, not far from the Adriatic coast, it offers a natural vocation for the cultivation of the vine. The habitat and the open disposition of its hilly inclines, at an average altitude of 130 meters above sea level, degrading to the lines towards the plain, give the wine unmistakable organoleptic qualities rich in freshness and generosity.
