COLVENDRÀ originates from the early 1900s, finding its roots in the centuries-old wine-making traditions of the Veneto region. In fact, since 1924 Leonardo Della Colletta, enhancing an ancient family tradition, begins a wine route in the heart of the Veneto region in the center of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area where lush vineyards meet sunny hills and where the work of man makes a tradition become fertile. The passion for working in the cellar, with respect for the environment and the landscape, remains a precious legacy that the Colvendrà Agricultural Company wants to preserve jealously: even today the vineyards are harmoniously alternated by hedges and small woods that draw a natural context unique of rare beauty and the wines are infinitely appreciated for their important structure and personality. The brothers Sergio, Franco, Giuseppe and Mirko personally follow all the stages of production: from the cultivation of the vineyards, to quality-oriented vinification, until bottling. The pedoclimatic conformation of the area favors the optimal exposure of the vineyards to the sun and shelters them from the cold winds of the North thanks to the crown of the Prealps that make it a suggestive background. The same clay soil gives the vineyard an optimal vegetative-productive balance and transfers important and complex elements.
