The Castagner Distillery is located in a strategic area for Veneto's viticulture: a modern structure where the tradition of grappa is innovated through the use of highly technological systems and systems that make this plant one of the most innovative and advanced sector.
Grappa is a grape peel distillate. The terroir, the climate and the way of growing grapes unquestionably characterize the identity that is different for each region of Italy.
Veneto, in particular, is one of the regions in which the art of distillation has experienced its greatest development.
The Castagner Distillery stands on the slopes of the Prosecco Conegliano - Valdobbiadene hills near the historic Cerletti Wine School, where the Master Distiller first graduated and then his nephew Carlo.
In its factories all the production phases are taken care of with the intention to preserve the pure quality of the grappa in every delicate passage, from the fermentation of the grape skins to the bottling of the finished product. This philosophy, which combines tradition and innovation, is expressed through the selection of the best raw materials, their careful fermentation and distillation in alembics personally designed by the master distiller. This is how a new generation of grappa was born, designed by Roberto Castagner, designed for a consumer fascinated by quality and the search for new emotions.
