Casanova di Neri today is one of the iconic wineries in the world for the production of wines of the highest quality. Founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri who with great vision and passion understood the great winemaking potential of the Montalcino area, passed into the hands of his son Giacomo in 1991. The first production takes place with a single plot located east of Cerretalto, followed by acquisitions of other valuable plots suitable for the production of Brunello di Montalcino: Fiesole, Poderuccio, Podernuovo, Le Cetine, Pietradonice, Cerretalto and Spereta. Currently the company covers an area of about 500 hectares of which 63 are vineyards, 20 are olive groves and the rest are arable land and woods.The Neri family deal directly with the business management together with a group of collaborators with whom they form a close-knit team.
