At the beginning of the 80s the Di Meo brothers took over the historic farm of their parents Vittorio and Alessandrina, located a few kilometers from Avellino, in the municipality of Salza Irpina. The property, once owned by the Caracciolo Princes. The vineyards are planted and in 1986 the first wines arrived, thus the Di Meo winery was born.The Di Meo Farm, 15 km east of Avellino, is located between the Picentini Mountains and Partenio, in the heart of Irpinia, between the small villages of Salza Irpina and Parolise.
The property covers about 25 hectares, mostly planted with vines, and includes the ancient Casino di Caccia, now transformed into a luxurious country residence, home to corporate and private events, administrative offices and buildings for the processing and conservation of wine and liqueurs.
